I’m interested in your tea, but don’t like tea unless it’s with
some kind of cream/sweetner.
Is there a combo of both, or at least sweetner, that wouldn’t
affect the effectiveness of the tea?
Thank you.
You can certainly use a small amount of Stevia or even raw sugar. It will detract from the effectiveness of the tea, but not so much that you can’t enjoy your cup of tea. Try some and let us know what you think.
does using lemon in the wu-long tea change its effectiveness?
Absolutely not! If your enjoy the taste of lemon in your tea, feel free to use it.
I am interested in purchasing your tea. My only concern is caffeine. I Wu-Long Tea, by chance, caffeine free?
This is a question we hear often. Our Wu-Long tea is not caffeine free. It is however naturally low in caffeine, about 1/3 the amount that you would find in a cup of coffee and slightly less than that of black tea.
Can you tell us the amount of caffeine in milligrams per serving (cup)? That would make it easier to make comparisons and to decide whether those of us sensitive to caffeine can tolerate it without any problems. Thank you.
Hello. Our Wu-Long Tea contains 31.6mg of caffeine per serving. You can see more results from the study here:

I,too, am sensitive to caffeine. Just wondering if you tried the tea and had any side effects. I can tolerate some caffeine, such as chocolate and decaff coffee. I would love to benefit from this tea but a little afraid to. Thanks for your input.
Oolong tea does naturally contain some caffeine. The normal amount in about 33mg per cup, which is about 1/3 the amount you would find in a normal cup of coffee. It is similar in amount to green tea. Here is a link with more specific caffeine information: http://www.wulongforlife.com/blog/caffeine-levels-in-tea/
I hope this helps.
Is this tea dangerous for someone with congestive heart failure or high blood pressure?
Hi Linda. The tea is 100% natural oolong tea with absolutely no additives or preservatives. However, in the instance of any medical concern, we suggest that you ask your doctor before trying anything new.
I have a condition called atrial fibrillation which causes me to be on a continual blood thinner. I presently am taking Warfarin which is the generic form of Coumadin. I have been told not to drink any green tea because it interferes with my medication. Also, I can’t eat a lot of green vegetables, etc., but the green tea seems to be the most damaging to my medication. Can you please tell me if your tea is a green tea?
Thank you.
Hello Helen. Our tea is oolong tea, not green tea. Oolong tea falls somewhere in between black tea and green tea and is semi-fermented. If you are on blood thinning medication and have been told not to drink green tea, we would ask that you consult with your doctor before trying our tea.

Hello!
We do not have direct distribution, the Wu-long Products are currently available online only at http://www.wulongforlife.com/order-tea/, but we do ship internationally.
You should know that our products are 100% pure, premium-grade oolong tea. There are no additives or fillers. This means that the tea is very safe. However, for any medical questions (including pregnancy), we would ask that you please consult with your doctor to discuss what is best for you.
You keep referring to the teabags. Are there any differences in using the capsules versus the teabags? Is the effectiveness the same?
The Wu-Long Capsules are a concentrated version of the tea in capsule form. They are just as effective (if not slightly more) and great for those who want to get the benefits in a convenient way. We recommend taking two capsules per day, one in the morning with a full glass of water about 15 minutes before breakfast, and one in the afternoon about 15 minutes before lunch.
