The researchers concluded that the subcutaneous fat, which is the fat that lies below the skin’s surface, was significantly lower at the end of the 12 weeks. The lower levels of LDL were also associated with the consumption of tea catechins. In the end, they saw that tea catechins may be useful in the prevention of body fat-related diseases and in the improvement of one’s health.
