Eat Less Crap, Eat More Food

Eat Less Crap, Eat More Food

There is a whole lot of weight loss advice out there in the world.

Honestly, it’s everywhere you look – from the news, to social media, to your coworkers chatting in the break room.

Now, I love reading all the latest health and nutrition research (really, I do) and it’s a good thing, because it’s my job.

But sometimes I wonder if we are over thinking it.

It seem that every day there is some brand new diet plan that calls for restricting one aspect of your diet (fats, carbs), or counting each calorie, or only eating certain amounts of food at certain times of the day.

Do any of us really have the time to manage every detail of what we put into our mouths?

How about something a little more simple?

This has been floating around the Internet for a while now, and I think it’s pretty right on…

Eat Less Crap, Eat More Food

This is a pretty straightforward way of looking at it. It makes sense. And it’s not all-or-nothing.

Consume less soda and other carbonated beverages, sugary treats, artificial sweeteners (or artificial anything for that matter), and processed foods.

And then consume more fresh fruits and veggies, organic lean proteins, omega 3’s, and drink water (lots of it).

Simple enough, right?

Now of course there will be variations for every individual, but I think that giving yourself guidelines for healthier choices will pay off better in the long run than giving yourself overly-rigid restrictions.

This is the kind of simple advice that can create a lifetime of good habits rather than yo-yo diets.

A little food for thought, if you will.

Oh, and our 100% natural Wu-Long Tea is another easy way to help you be healthier every day.
